Jim and Paula welcome you to their lodge. Goldmine is a cozy, clean and comfortable family owned and run lodge. Folks love to return to us to relax and enjoy the blue sky, clear air and pine scent.

Jim and Paula DeGroot are a husband-and-wife team, and have owned the Goldmine Lodge since November 2007. They really enjoy working together and living in the Big Bear community where they plan to retire.

Jim and Paula have four Dachshunds that work and play along with them.!

Jim and Paula both love Big Bear Lake and would not choose to be anywhere else. The small town charm and mountain atmosphere is hard to beat.
